You install them with strong tape on the back, without tools and without leaving screw holes in the wall. Simply remove the protective film, press the hook firmly onto a clean, smooth surface, and allow the adhesive to cure before hanging anything on it.

Do they hold up to tiles and moisture in wet rooms?

Yes. The hooks are made specifically for the smooth, non-absorbent surfaces that are difficult to drill into without risk: tiles, glass, and painted walls. This is also where the self-adhesive tape adheres best, as it requires a tight, even contact with the surface to hold.

The bathroom is also a humid room, and therefore both matte black and brushed steel are materials that can withstand steam from the shower. One piece of advice makes a big difference for durability: clean the surface thoroughly before attaching the hook. Soap residue and grease from an uncleaned tile are the typical reasons why a self-adhesive hanger comes loose. Disinfect and dry the surface, then press firmly.

How much weight can a self-adhesive hook bear?

A bathroom hook must be able to hold a wet towel, which weighs more than a dry one, and these hooks handle daily use well. Distribution matters: hang the heaviest load on the nearest hook, and avoid tugging and pulling it while the adhesive is still new.

Always give the tape time to cure before loading the hook. If you attach it and immediately hang a heavy towel, the adhesive won't bond properly, and it will fall off. Install it, wait for it to bond thoroughly, and only then start using it. That way, it will last, day after day.

Black or brushed steel: how to choose

The choice between matte black and brushed steel mostly depends on what complements the rest of your room. Matte black creates a calm, graphic look that stands out beautifully against light tiles and white walls. Brushed steel is a bit more neutral and pairs well with faucets and fixtures in similar tones.

A tip: keep the hooks in the same finish as your other bathroom details, such as handles, towel rails, and shower mounts.
